These terms (“Terms”) govern your use of the apps and services provided by Keel Cortex, LLC (“Keel Cortex,” “we,” “us”). Please read them carefully. Sections below use placeholder language and will be replaced with final terms reviewed by counsel before launch.
By creating an account, downloading, or using any Keel Cortex app or service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Keel Cortex builds focused mobile and web applications for specific communities of practice. The features, content, and availability of any service may change over time. We may add, modify, or discontinue functionality at our discretion.
Some features require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
You agree not to misuse the service. This includes, but is not limited to: attempting to disrupt or compromise the service, accessing data or accounts that are not yours, reverse-engineering the apps except where permitted by law, or using the service to harass, harm, or defraud others.
Paid features are billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another platform we may designate. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled through the relevant platform’s account settings. Refund eligibility is governed by the platform’s policies.
Keel Cortex and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the apps, services, and associated content. You retain ownership of content you create within the apps. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your content solely to operate the service.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, Keel Cortex’s aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account through the in-app flow or at keelcortex.com/apps/[appname]/delete-account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or for legitimate operational reasons, with notice where reasonably possible.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [state], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [county, state], and you consent to that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you in-app or by email and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
