Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and a hashed password. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the email and name they provide.
Profile and workout data
Information you add to the app — swim logs, goals, personal bests, notes, and any profile details you choose to provide.
Health and fitness data
With your permission, [App Name] reads workout data from Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect (distance, duration, heart rate, calories, stroke data). This data stays on your device and in your encrypted cloud backup. We never sell or share it.
Location data
With your permission, we record GPS coordinates during outdoor swim workouts so you can see your route. Location is only collected while a workout is active.
Photos
If you add a profile photo or attach photos to a workout, those images are uploaded to our backend and stored with your account.
Payment information
Subscriptions are handled by Apple’s App Store or Google Play. We receive your subscription status, but not your payment card details.
Device and usage data
We collect anonymized usage events (which screens you visit, which features you use) and technical information (device model, OS version, app version, crash logs) to improve the app.
Push notification tokens
If you enable notifications, we store a device token so we can send workout reminders and other notifications you’ve opted into.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.
We share limited data with these service providers, who are contractually required to protect it:

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we’re legally required to retain it (e.g., payment records).
You can delete your account from inside the app (Settings › Account › Delete Account) or by visiting keelcortex.com/apps/[appname]/delete-account. Deletion is permanent.
[App Name] is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact privacy@keelcortex.com.
Depending on where you live (EU, UK, California, others), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, or to object to certain processing. Contact privacy@keelcortex.com to exercise these rights.
Your data may be processed in [country, likely United States]. We use standard safeguards for international transfers where required.
